Infertility doesn’t care about your ethnicity: heart-breaking and inspiring stories about infertility, IVF, miscarriage and loss is your community if you are feeling lonely, sad, in pain, shamed and blamed.Infertility doesn’t care about your ethnicity

Infertility and loss are taboo subjects that are often shrouded in silence and misunderstanding in many cultures and communities. This leaves those who are experiencing a struggle to parenthood with no-one to talk to, and if they do try to speak about what they are going through, they usually only receive insensitive comments that do little to validate their feelings. It’s not unusual that people who haven’t experienced infertility, IVF or loss have no idea of how it really is; although this is true of many life-changing situations, it doesn’t help you. At this time in your life, you deserve and need the support from those who do understand.

This is why we’ve collected over thirty short stories from around the world – the story may not be exactly the same as yours, but the emotions are likely the same. These strong, brave women share the realities of their struggle to conceive; from infertility, fertility treatments such as IVF, early and late miscarriage, alternative paths to parenthood, stillbirth, neonatal death and childfree after infertility. Reading other people’s stories can really help you to feel connected to others, to find hope and most of all, to not feel alone.
